Measuring:
If at all possible, have measurements taken by your local seamstress.
Measure over undergarments, keeping the tape snug, but not tight, against the body.
· Bust: All the way around the fullest part of the bust
/chest· Waist: All the way around smallest part/natural curve of waist
· Hip: Placing heels together, all the way around the widest part of rear, including the widest part of the thigh.
Selecting Size:
These pageant dresses
runs larger than everyday clothing sizes, so expect to order a smaller size than normally worn.
If between sizes, choose the larger size - dresses can always be taken in/made smaller, but you cannot make them larger.
