    Shoulder to Floor: Gowns are 63" long, allowing for ladies 5' 6" tall, wearing

    full hoops or petticoat, and 3" heels.

 

    How to Measure: Measure over undergarments, keeping the tape snug,

    but not tight, against the body. If at all possible, have measurements

    taken by your local seamstress.

 

    Bust: This is taken all the way around the fullest part of the chest, wearing the

    bra you plan to wear with the Gown. This is NOT the same as your bra size.

   

    Waist: This is taken all the way around the smallest part of the waist.

 

    Length: This is taken from the shoulder, down your back to the floor, wearing the

    heel height you plan to wear with the gown. If you will be wearing hoops or petticoat,

    this will "lift" the hem of the gown off of the floor, so be sure to add 3" to your

    actual length measurement, to determine gown length needed.

   

Generally, if between sizes, order the larger size - it is always easier to take seams in, than to let them out.
